Open Question: How much money should I save before living on my own?

I live in Honolulu, HI and I am very fortunate that there is no mortgage on my family's home and is fee simple. I am still going to college. When I graduate I plan to work for a little while and save but, what is the right amount I should have before moving? I am majoring in Marketing and the average salary in the state of Hawaii is 64,000 and thats not including tax deductions.
